Patrick G. Hubbard

Patrick G. (Pat) Hubbard is a native Texan. He was born in Electra and grew up in Denver City, where he completed high school in 1964. He attended Abilene Christian University where he earned a business degree in 1968. After college, Pat enrolled in law school at Texas Tech University. However, his law school education was interrupted for two years while serving in the United States Army where he was trained at the Army Finance Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was later assigned to duty with the second Finance Section in Giessen, Germany. After completing his military duty, Pat returned to law school at Texas Tech and graduated receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 1973.

Upon graduation from law school, Pat became a member of the State Bar of Texas and began his legal career as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Lubbock County, Texas. He later opened a law office in Lubbock, Texas where he conducted a general practice. In 1977, he received an appointment as an Assistant Attorney General and later as Acting Attorney General for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands on the Island of Saipan, where he represented the executive branch of government advising the governor on legal affairs, overseeing criminal prosecution, the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Immigration.

After leaving government service, Pat returned to Texas and practiced law in Tyler, Texas until he entered the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona to study International Business, Cross Cultural Affairs and Mandarin Chinese. He was awarded a Master’s Degree in International Management in 1983.

Pat moved to Kingwood in 1985 and established a home for his family and a law practice that has continued to the present time. He raised two sons in Kingwood and participated in many of their activities including Sunday school, scouting, baseball, basketball, swimming, as well as, school events. Pat and his wife, Mary, are active members of the Second Baptist Church in Kingwood and he is also a member of the Gideons International.


Charioty I. James

Charioty I. James is a graduate of Loyola School of Law in New Orleans. She has been at the Hubbard Law Firm since 2008, where she has practiced in the areas of estate planning, real estate, probate, personal injury, contract and family law, just to name a few. Before joining the Hubbard Law Firm, Charioty spent years in complex commercial litigation, including construction, professional liability, mass toxic tort, premises liability and product liability. This blend of corporate and private practice experience gives her unique insight and ability when it comes to the practice of law.

In addition to graduating in the top of her class at Loyola, Charioty won many distinguished awards and scholarships while completing her education. She was awarded the Jack LaNasa and Law Dean Scholarships and the Loyola University School of Law Academic Scholarship. She earned Law Excellence Awards in Community Property, Sexual Discrimination, Administration of Criminal Justice and Constitutional Law. Charioty was recognized for her leadership and integrity by being honored with one of the highest awards given at Loyola – The Spirit of Ignatius Award.

Charioty has been recognized for her superior oratory ability by being chosen for the distinguished Order of the Barristers. She was also awarded the Edna S. Burkhalter Award for Outstanding Oral Ability.

Charioty is licensed to practice law in all District and County Courts in the State of Texas. She is also licensed in the Federal District Courts in the State of Texas.

In addition to her life as an advocate and litigator, Charioty is also a wife and mother of three beautiful children.
